Amman PH problem when feeding MP

PH problem when feeding MP

like to check if anyone here face problem with ph dropping after feeding MP.
I know that feeding MP will cause PH to drop but how to maintain it to be more stable.
If feed everyday with MP, the PH will drop a bit everyday before it buffer back to the desire reading.
If feed alt day with MP then it got more time to buffer and on 3rd day will buffer to the desire reading.
If I want to feed MP everyday, wat is the best way to have a more stable PH?
BTW, already have CC in my setup liao.

I feed my aro ray with mealworm, MP just started Cricket.....Never bother about the PH... As long my sump tank is mature, I think I no need to worry about these issues (IMO)
>Agree with bro thesim.. as long as ur tank water and filtration is mature, it wont really harm the fish..
>i guess it depends on how much the PH drops after feeding. If it drops by more than 1, then, you may want to check if your filtration system can handle the current bio-load. It could also be that your filtration system is not mature yet.
>Its quite natural for ph to drop over time. This could occur in the nitrificaton process when there is presence of ammonia from food, fish excrement, etc. If you feed less you could notice the ph may not drop as much or as fast. Add sodium bicarbonate to stabilise the ph, it could last a few days depending on the bioload (more fishes = more ammonia, therefore ph drops faster). Its also important to ensure leftovers are cleared, as MP leftovers can lead to bacteria accumulating in the tank, thus endangering your aro.
>I feed mp to my 16" aro, 7" ray 10" gourami on alternate days. Tank is 422.5 using in-built OHF (2 layers of wool) with min medias - 2kg ceramic rings 0.5kg coral chips (see bottle on each side of tank). No water change, only top up a small bucket of water every bi-weekly with min salt added (away from ray) and no anti-chlorine. Without ray, more salt will be added after every water top up. Water is clear but not crystal clear. Never use test kits before, less monitoring of ph, ammonia etc...

>i am on OHF with jus 1 tray of CC and the rest on ceramic rings but apparently my PH is at 7.5.. inside only got 1 XB and 1 IT

IMO, in regards to PH, the one thing you need to need to worry about is drastic/sharp fluctuations. As long as the drop is slow( if any ) and PH is buffered back to desire reading slowly, there really is nothing to worry about.
a ph 6.5 reading might be stablized at with the reading at 1 decimal place but its always fluctuating at 2 decimal places. And that is normal. Even in the wild, same pond might have different ph readings in the day and night, in different seasons etc. For tanks, with aeration, temperature, nitrate content, dissolved minerals and many more, Its not as stable and fixed.
Fishes thrive in ranges of PH. just different ranges. reds in lower ph ranges as compared to xbacks. As long as it fluctuates within that range, its normal.
If its not buffering as fast and as much as you want, try adding even more CC. i have seen a setup with 1 compartment out of 3 ( sump) totally filled with CC just to deal with the outdoor conditions and heavy feeding
